Hello all,

I am in the process of getting my FD to be consistently enjoyable and I've opted to use FC Tweak to improve general drivability and ensure safety of the motor. The previous owner was running a PFC (FD3S4) so I know that since I have the technically newer version I should be okay to run FC Tweak. As I've been acquiring the required hardware and software to make this change, I've noticed an issue with finding and ascertaining an FC Datalogit. Specifically, I've tried reaching out to FC Datalogit directly to confirm they are still in business. I have also reached out to some distributors, specifically the folks at RX7.com and have not been able to get in contact with them either.

This is simply precautionary as I would prefer to not order one without absolute certainty that the company is still in business (one of the cons of owning the chassis so late). So, I pose the question, has anyone bought or communicated with FC Datalogit or RX7.com recently and can attest to the fact they are still selling and shipping products?

For those who may ask, I have been checking the RX7 Club Marketplace but the listings typically include the PFC as well as the datalogit and for obvious reasons that is not an option. The one up there currently has already been sold.

have you checked yahoo auctions japan? sometimes rare rx7 parts pop up there.

 

I plan on upgrading to the DL-340XB, if you're still interested in the Datalogit I will selling mine.

 

I appreciate the offer but after doing some research I think I will be going with the DL-340XB as well.

That's a good point, I have not tried that. I typically use Buyee as a proxy site but they seem have issues with shipping electronics to the US. I cant tell you how many times I have seen something I like, gotten excited and then promptly been disappointed as Buyee blocks me from bidding out of fear they will not be able to shup it. Thank you for the recommendation though.
