So I've been looking around for some new bumpers but I'm not really digging any that I would be willing to spend so much on. They don't seem worth the amount of money in how they look in my opinion. I was curious to see if anybody hacked up and layed any fiberglass on any stock '93 style front bumpers (zenki FD) and made somthing of their own?? If so post some pics, or ideas of what I could do would be appreciated!

 

IMO it would be easier to find a cheap, used aftermarket fiberglass bumber and either fix it up or hack that up and modify it. Fiber glassing a plastic bumper is not ideal
(you must be OK at body work anyway, or at least willing to learn if your considering hacking up the stock bumber)

short version - start with something that's already fiberglass
