Custom engine wiring harness

Hey guys, been out of the FD game for quite some time, looking to eventually get back into it once i free up some cash, but had a question now that I'm in the aviation field I thought I saw a thread a while back where someone built a custom engine harness with a quick disconnect through the firewall like they use on aircraft, (twist and click style) and had all the factory plugs, this way you can just disconnect the harness with a simple twist and pull the engine all together.

But do they make the harness? I can get connectors all day long to my specs when needed. Is there a how to for something like this? even if there isnt an exact how to for this style i could replicate a harness made for a single turbo conversion clip the harness and had the bulkhead connector in between the two ends.

LMS-EFI can build you a high quality custom engine loom to your spec, I recently got my second one from them. They also sell parts to build your own harness and a bulkhead fitting like you mentioned.

That's it, but i thought there was a thread regarding it if you wanted to take this on yourself with some schematics and the connectors required?

If your harness is good just cut it and re-pin/solder it 1 wire at a time. Obviously some wires are bigger than others as long as the connectors can handle the current.
Apart from looks there is no point as it only takes 5 minutes to thread it through the firewall.
