CHECK ENGINE light after SPark Plug Wires change

Hey there !
After changing the oem spark plug wires (and really struggling to plug-in the leading wires on their coils), I've got a problem with the 'CHECK ENGINE' light appearing immediatly after the engine starts and then remaining .
Also, in the small run I've done with the car (5minutes) I noticed some weird "gas" smell (really like gas, not fuel) I hadn't before. Also, at idle, if I WOT the engine stalls (it didn't before)
Though, the car starts instantly and drives normally, the idle is not perfect (It wasn't before, that's why I changed those spark plug wires) but it's not that bad >> : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG4xTfzVPxI&feature=youtu.be
So I don't know if this check engine light may be linked to the Leading wires that I'm not sure to have plugged-in quite correctly, or if it's something else, like an electric cable in the spark plugs area that I snatched without noticing... I've no idea
Tomorrow I'll try to get the Trouble Code so I can have a lead... ( https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...-codes-851414/ )

(PS, I've got a Stock 93 FD, on stock ECU)

The only sensors on that side of the engine I can think of are:
Temp sender for dash not ECU
Oil pressure sender for dash not ECU
Oil level sensor for warning light not ECU
KNOCK sensor definitely for ECU

Other possibilities, coil harness could have been damaged, not sure if that can set a code.

Hopefully you can get a code out of it and that will reveal something.

Thanks for the help !
after reading your comment, I was kinda sure this could be the Knock sensor because I changed the wires and spark plugs without seeing anything down there and may have snatched the knock's wire. And, I guess this would explain my WOT/stalls problem if the car was in limp mode because of the Knock sensor failure (I'm reallly not sure about this).
So, this morning, I went to my garage and used the diagnostic box to get the error codes, expecting a 05 error code (knock sensor) but was astonished to get these 3 codes : 12, 18, 28 ( Throttle Sensor (Full Range) , Throttle Sensor (Narrow Range) , solenoid valve EGR)
that being said, I instantly realized I forgot to plug the TPS sensor harness back in... (shame on me)
So, I guess now the CHECK ENGINE light will be fine with the TPS sensor plugged.
About the (unexpected) EGR Solenoid Valve error, I guess this was an anterior problem, But I need to investigate on it.
