Is this car an FD?

https://vm.tiktok.com/TTPdgnoPMQ/

I see people debating this in the comments and I just can't tell if it is an RX7 or not.

There is hope. member up here is attempting a revival of this RHD, as an LHD, no less.

Yeah. That was 2016. A true roller, all the suspension and steering was still there. 70,000km. Not a single rusty bolt. Car had small fire and the government monopoly insurer released it as "salvage only". Would have been a great basis for a track build. No one would pick it up in the stripped condition, even for C$1000. Had no storage, so had to cut it up. Still have large (large) parts of it in my storage. Much of the suspension is in my daily. Also the motor, haha. Car lives on in many of the local FD.

My comment was a commentary on the current state of cars and car "values." Not at all a dig at you.

I did not take it as a dig at all.

I got your joke and was riffing on the sentiment.

I got it….and and knew what you meant. I also chuckled and almost spit up a little coffee.

If FD values continue into the stratosphere, people might start manufacturing replicas like they do for other classic sports cars.

Hmmm, it seems Ferrari is already making a pretty good replica.

A tad oversized, but who isn't these days?

FD Replica already exists.

Look how much higher the Roma sits! It’s about 2 times bigger than the FD. Then we wonder how such vehicles weigh 3500lbs.
not knocking the Roma at all, but I’d still take the FD. It’s got such a classic svelte look to anything on the road.
