Is this bumper toast?!

Hey guys,

project FD came with this knock off 99 spec bumper with rough figment and I’m wondering if it’s 1) saveable and 2) worth saving. Im not scared of taking on the project because I think the learning experience would be great, but taking on something silly is well.... silly!

Couple pictures below for you more experienced guys. Can get more if you guys need more.

Sell it cheap to a drifter.

Might even fit better on their previously wrecked FD.

Yeah it looks like it could be an inexpensive fiberglass bumper and doesn't fit well. That would require a LOT of labor/money to get to fit right. I'd move on from that bumper.

Get an OEM 99 spec bumper. You'll probably pay a shop as much to fix that cheap one than buying the real deal.

if it was mine i would pull it apart and look, you really can't tell any other way. since its an aftermarket part, it was probably not installed very well to begin with...

How sure are you it's not the fenders? I'm assuming you pulled your stock bumper off and this one lined up like so...correct? If that's the case, move on...its not worth it.

was on the car when I got a hold of it.

Not sure. Gaps look good by the doors and on the headlights with the fenders so I’m thinking they haven’t been moved at all.
