Brake booster vacuum line simplification

Hey guys, I saw this posted on Facebook and wanted to get your input on it. It seems like a nice way to get a shorter vacuum run from the UIM to the brake booster, kind of like what the RHD FD's have. Looks like they are using a CNC flange and some quality fittings/pieces to make it work. I tend to like OEM+ mods like this...very "singer" feel to it. If anyone has bought one please let me know what you think as I'm thinking of ordering one soon! Thanks!

I saw that too. It looks pretty cool but I wonder if it gets in the way of removing the oil filter...

I thought about this as well, but I don’t think it would be an issue to take the vacuum hose off before replacing the filter, seems pretty simple, no?

Just ordered one for myself . Really slick looking!

It's a little pricey for what it is, but that AN fitting isn't cheap. It's a part that could probably be engineered to reduce costs, but it is pretty.

I typically remove the TB elbow when I change oil to get to the filter, don't know how much that new routing for that hose would be in the way.

They removed the ISC solenoid and plumed into that large opening in the UIM.
