BMW Sidemarker

Hello, had some folks asked me how I did this so I wanted to share it with everyone here in case someone else wants to do it. The hardest part is making the cuts on the fender, I recommend you have a professional auto body person do it. In my case it was Makito from "Seven Apple"

Parts: (obviously you can buy anywhere just giving you a lead)
BMW Sidemarker Housing
Bulb Housing (Also found in Mini's)
Pigtail Plug
LED Bulb (Needs to be short enough to not touch the housing, amber bulb is brighter than white in the amber housing)
Mazda Front Connectors (I used the 3 position connectors to get power and turn signal from the front of the markers without having to splice the wires. So from main Body harness ---> Switchback Turnsignal ---> Front Bumper Lamps)

Looks sharp! I've seen that done on another FD some time back.

I wired my side markers (I put JDM fenders on) and I just wired them up to the stock turn signal wires. They blink with the turn signals, didn't have to use a relay, diodes, etc. That's how they were originally in Japan, just blinking with the turn signals.

Took me a sec to figure out what you were doing with the diagram, but that's really nice. I like them as running lights as well.

Nice job.
