Let us know how long it lasts! I'm skeptical of these types of batteries now after my battery tender lithium stopped working after a year of use in my ND mx-5 (granted, it is a much cheaper battery, but not sure if there is a significant difference in tech).

I've never put in on a tender as if I dont plan to drive the car again for more than a week I just disconnect the battery.

Right now Mazda USA will sell you a 26R from Interstate with a nice Mazda sticker on it.
My old generic AAA battery died after more than 8 years with no battery tender. Just went down this path. Got tired and just called Mazda for the easy button. Has a nice Mazda sticker on this size 26R battery with 550 CCA

They are the same size as the 2010 Mazda3 battery, might be the same as some of the newer model too.

I have been running a Braille AGM (B2317RP) in the stock location for three months now and it works great. I have it mounted to the stock battery box with a black aluminum tie down purchased from eBay for $12. It looks very clean and the stock battery cover still fits. Total weight savings is around 25 lbs. (from the front of the car).
