B is for Build does an FD!

This is one of the Youtube channels I routinely follow and watch. Always thought it would be awesome to see him do an FD - guess what, he just got one!

It's a rough JDM 92 FD. I'm really interested to see how this turns out!

If you haven't seen his channel, he's got a lot of good stuff. Really dug the Lotus Evora project.

Hell yeah man! Hopped on YoutTube for the first time in a couple of days and saw that he finally got a 7. Watching the second video, this FD looks like a real lemon lol

Yeah, the second episode he starts digging into the car. Looks like some sloppy wiring but the general frame of the car looks to be decent.

I'm wondering if he has a lot of wet electronics since the windows looked taped up, like it may have sat a while with the windows down or something.

Hoping it's a flooded engine, he mentioned moving it briefly in the driveway then shutting it down.

Regardless, I know I'll be watching all the new episodes!

Fukushima... That is why he won this car. His first mod should be a Geiger counter.

They do not go for $3000...

You think it could have been flooded?

Fukushima was in 2011 and he says it was registered in 2016, so hopefully not. He did get it running on the latest episode with the help of Pineapple Racing.

Flooded is best case scenario, flooding happened all up the coast not just Fukushima, and has some easily discernible tell tale signs.

He actually just had a video yesterday of "was my car in a flood?"

I emailed him on the brake lights staying on, saying it was probably the rubber stopper for the brake light switch. He said that was it, so that problem's fixed .

If someone knows him please let him know he and his family may be at risk.

He just said in that video the car was last registered in 2010... and its flooded. Yikes.

Who would have thought that radiation would be one of the issues to look out for when buying an FD from Japan...and I thought hidden rust and blown engines were a problem...

He determined that the car had not been flooded in the Tsunami. I believe he said it was registered in 2015, and the years before that.

I had a feeling you're the Dale he was talking about in his last video. He did a shout out to you about the brake light stopper and it is you. That's funny. You help a lot of people, including me. That's awesome.

Yea my bad at 13:02 I was listening only to his vid and he said last registered 2010 but he was mistaken, when I looked at the sticker he was talking about it shows the registration ran out Oct 2015.

Love his show, been following all of his builds. As soon as he tried to start it, I was like "It's flooded". Then he about chocked Mark out with all the fuel coming out.

It was so nice to see him get his multimeter and check voltage on the circuits that aren't working! There aren't enough people who can troubleshoot an electrical problem.

I dont think he knows about installing a midpipe and catback with a stock ecu and JDM downpipe. I sent him an e-mail. I hope he doesnt over do it, and blow the engine.
