S is for Short cut... or is it Sponsorship. Idk, either way there’s a lot of both. Can’t say it didn’t suck me in to watch each day, but I’d almost prefer the car the way it rolled in.

Mature? nah its just a phase... Right now the biggest craze is going back to stock but the truth is that 100% stock FDs are slow and are prone to problems. For those that say the value is 100% stock are stuck in the old days when stock components were not made of plastic and actually were quite reliable. 1970 charger 100% stock yep! nothing to be done but enjoy. 1993 Mazda FD3S all stock. Not so much. Better have constant vigilance on the state of the ast, radiator, vacuum hoses, precat...

For those that hate on singles have either: Seen shitty builds or never had their original turbos leak (they are not rebuild-able). The thing is that singles make the car as fast as it looks, back in the day singles were laggy but now with the emergence of the EFR setups its a whole new ball game. But with that said, I believe a happy medium is best. Full bolt ons + reliability mods on stock sequential twins.

I would say stock look and quality safe builds are the thing now. With the new EFR turbos and cast manifolds, you can build some pretty good and super clean cars, with stock feel.
And people are moving away from kits and back to stock+ looks, and i think thats a good thing.

I Dont understand why hes pushing for this timeline hes given himself. its totally unnecessary. The paint is shoddy, the wheel and fitment are a disaster, the engine will probably blow , it will most likely drive like crap and he probably wont make the deadline anyway. That guy from pineapple racing should really step him aside and let him know this is a mistake

The more I watch this guy, the less I think of him. Sure, he's a nice guy, trying to do what he thinks people like ................. but...............

He put on a body kit that wont allow the car to be jacked up. The rear wheels scrape. They didnt torque the rear lug nuts. He didnt completely fill the coolant. He got really harsh springs, and didnt adjust the ride height properly.

Now he's going to try and drive this mess 1000 miles with his "soon to be ex-wife", and hope he makes it. I dont know why I keep watching. I guess I just want to see if he makes it, or if he ruins his wifes vacation., or if he blows the engine etc etc

If I spent $1000 for paint supplies, I would of taken more time. I like watching his videos, but it seems his priority was to get the thing done on time over quality. And that body kit is horrid. They way he hacked the body to install it was just terrible.

He could have not installed the body kit and done a cheapo paint job on the stock panels and I would have understood that.

He's falling prey to the need to increase his viewership and bring in money. You can just see the way he's choosing projects and mods based on how they can get him views and products to hawk, rather than caring about the actual project much.

The RX-7 was just a throwaway car to make videos about. Very disappointing to me.

I first tuned in when he was working on the Evora, and there is a stark difference to the kind of effort and dedication from that time period to now.

What is really disappointing is that he had 8 months or whatever it was from the time he bought the car to when it was delivered. During that time he should have mapped out a good plan, and ordered the right parts.

There's no excuse for the careless way he has thrown things together. At least he didnt screw up a USDM car.

My favorite was the "compression test" with the plugs out venting to air, and proclaiming it "good" while underhandedly implying its is certified by pineapple racing.

Passive aggressive much? He's cheaped out and done very little research on almost all of what he's done and it seems like folks that have watched some of his videos are somehow surprised. Sorry to get your **** in a tussle /tomseguraquote

I don't think his other ones are as rushed, this was practically roadkill. Guess the project is 'done' and it's on to the next.

I guess the silver lining is the car toughed it out the whole way. Looks like it is on to a Bimmer again.

Time to go back to watching Howzer's videos and unsubscribing from this haha.

I enjoyed watching this series, but there were so many cringe-worthy moments. Wheel nuts not tight?!? Dangerously wide spacers? Come on! The things you can get away with in the USA...

The next build he is doing is an M5 V10 in a 240Z. The plans are on the level of Rob Dahm's 4 rotor, with a full space frame, lengthened and widened front end, push rod suspension, and BMW rear subframe. Aiming to be done In time for SEMA this year. I hope it isn't a train wreck!
