Aluminum door handle cups from Mazdatrix
I purchased a set of these, they are very nice and appear to be dimensionally correct. My question is, has anybody installed a set of them?
I am pushing very hard trying to snap them into place but am afraid that I will damage the plastic arm rest.
Has anybody installed a set ?

I have the ones from Rotary 13b1, they are probably the same thing.
FANTASTIC quality and one of the best upgrades you can do. When you grab the door to close it it feels like a bank vault instead of squeaky/bendy plastic. Fit and finish was excellent as well.

How did you install them? I can't get either side to snap into place, afraid that I am going to break the armrest if I push too hard on them,.
Do you have a Data Log it, can you make some adjustments on an Apexi?

There wasn't that much excitement to install them - I just popped mine in. May want to post a picture if you have a specific problem.
Not sure what you are asking about the Datalogit.

Hi Dale, thanks for the response.
Do you have a shop in Pensacola?
I will be up there later this month with the car.
My car runs great but is too rich at idle and cruise (high vacuum light throttle) and I think too lean at WOT above 6000 rpm.
I do not understand how to just affect those areas, everything else appears to be spot on.

I don't have a shop, I'm just a rabid fan .
PM me when you are going to be in the area and we can meet up.
Thanks,
Dale

For the aluminum, I've removed both sides off before (isn't that the only way to remove the door panel?). It was very hard to snap them out, I eventually broke off a tab on the driver's side and also the passenger side. They snap back into place just fine even with a broken tab.

I finally just set them in place and rapped them o so gently with a rubber mallet! Snapped right in! I do hope that I do not need to ever remove the door panels again, they will be a bitch to remove!

I have removed mine since installing, took a little work but wasn't bad. I do have 94 plastics and they are in good shape so that helps.
Also general tip on working with OEM plastics - have the car in a WARM area, preferably on a warm day. They are MUCH more brittle in the cold!
