The only option is an OEM pedal. There are no aftermarket ones out there unfortunately.
Also, it has to be a LHD pedal, the Japanese RHD pedals are VERY different.

I'm sure people have tried but with no success. I've personally looked through Ebay listings of other Mazda clutch pedal assemblies, they are all substantially different.
Also the FD has cast aluminum pedals, other cars typically have stamped steel.
The JDM assembly could be modified but it will require substantial work and welding. It needs to be VERY strong, the clutch pedal sees a lot of stress.
USDM pedal sets are out there for sale, they will fetch a bit of a premium but they are available. They bolt right up and work.

I can think of a floor mounted system, that doesn't require wholesale surgery, other than drilling a few holes, but not cheap!
Not sure about the left and right hand clutch pedal mounting, but suspect the mounting point "box" is the same. If they are, you could probably get a pedal laser cut and bent to shape for not much more than cutting and shutting......if you're paying someone to do the work. I'd be a bit wary of doing much welding on stock pedal assemblies, clutch isn't too bad if it fails, but the aluminium will inevitably be softer in the weld zone and there's been a few stockers fail in the pushrod area with heavy clutches already. This is a stock brake assembly done that way -
