how to change a clutch pedal(pedal only)

i have a 90 gxl and my i'm stepping on a stick cuz the pedal got ripped off i don't know how but it came like that with my car. i have an extra pedal but i can't get the pedal off on the car and i was going from under the dash. if anyone can give me advise on what to do i would great appriciate it.

i thought the brake and clutch pedal were one big assembly? maybe im thinking too big, you just have the pedal itself?

No, you can change one pedal at a time. You have to slide the shaft that the pedal rides on out, and pull the clutch pedal down.

I will tell you this now, its NOT FUN. I had to do it when I broke a clutch pedal.

do i need to take out the whole brake and clutch assembly or is there another way becuase there are 3 clips intotal and i can't reach 2 clips because they are behind everything and if i do manage to take them off how will i put the back ? if i got to take off the whole assembly what do i do after i take out all the bolts cause i tried that and gave up cause i don't know what i'm doing

Isnt it easy to take the whole pedal box out? is the manual and auto pedal box the same?

I don't see how you can get a 10" rod out of the assembly when it only has 3" to slide out? Plan on pulling the pedals...
