Hey just been trying to get my 7 on the road, drive great the 1st day out then, second day, it turns on fine idles fine. once I put it on first gear and start moving my radio shuts off, the rpm flutter down to line 500rpm almost like trying to shut off. then re radio restarts and if I put it back to neutral or 2nd gear it keeps running. please need some ideas on where to start my troubleshoot.

 

If you ride the clutch a bit, can you take off in 2nd gear as per normal? Run fine in other gears once its up and driving?

Need to establish if its dying just because the engine gets under a little bit of load, or if its actually something about being in 1st gear. The radio will be one of the first things to shut off when the system voltage sags. Can you attach a voltmeter to the battery, cause the fault to occur, and observe the voltage?
