my pic

my custom setup. This is a cool thread though, I can see some of you figured out how to do a FMIC without moving the radiator! I might have to consider that.

I going for a sleeper look (no FMIC), and the empty space on the right will get fitted for an electric air pump I got off a vette. Just have to find the time to get environmentally conscience

thanks for the props!! (my camera sucks, but I'll take some nice photos one day...maybe over xmas)

the paint code is SSM, but don't know why the bay is that color...er... I mean, I chose white so if I had a leak of something I can easily spot where it is coming from. Don't all the show car people do that?

I was told no wrecks (I'm the 3rd owner of this 95)...car fax clean. the more I take her apart the more I find little nit picky detail that point to wreck. We'll see the whole story when I get her fitted for new shoes and the full blown alignment.

Dud,
That's looking great man...Are you having any engine bay heat issues with that setup? I was and ended up having to throw a heat blanket on the exhaust housing.

YOU TOO HUH? I was also told the same thing....I'm the 2nd owner who got it through a dealer...

Anyway, after getting the springs installed I hauled it over to get it aligned with the new wheels... the guys at the alignment shop had a hard time getting the drivers side aligned....the right side was perfect but the left side was off a bit...Anyway, no matter what they did their computerized system couldn't line up...So they ended up eyeballing it and it feels fine....So this kinda tells me something probably happened like it got drifted and slammed into a curb or something...

Thanks bud...it's come a long way this year, and I'm exhausted (no pun here)

actually my car runs SO much cooler now, it's really amazing, or at least I was shocked.

I have my fans coming on at 195F and turning off at 185F, and with the weather down here, she is pulling like a tuna monkey at the freak show!!! (only 10psi at the moment...3k on the motor)

I guess with the SS manifold, single, and extra room in there, she really runs cool. I was worried about heat soak, but I coated the IC with a ceramic type finish. After I give her hell, I can touch everything in the bay expect the turbo...and it's no where near as hot as it use to be. (also cold hotside)

I'll eventually wrap the manifold and DP with heat wrap, etc...but just can't pull her apart yet. her day is coming.

Cruising around she's quite as can be, but once opened up, BOV and open WG, she turns into a wild beast...machine guns going off, cracking of the whip...it's NUTZ.

after the install of the new gt35kit and new rad I ran about 10c cooler....Howerver, the under hood temps for the exhaust housing was nuts...It started to melt the airbag wire that ran right by it and then started to let the wiring harness housing get a little crisp...Then I threw the heat blanket on there and thermal wrapped the DP...on top of that the DP and manifold are ceramic coated...Everything is much cooler now and I can actually touch stuff after getting on it....We both started about the same time and have come a LONG way

you need a fuel system and an ecu which will need to be tuned after it is installed
if you are on the stock computer with those mods you probably have a boost leak or you would have blown the engine right away.

350-400 is a lot of power for stock twins but I say go for it
its a lot better than dropping 10k into a single turbo setup and being dissapointed with the results

Greddy Elbow
18" Volk Racing rims/supra tires (it says on the tires)
Momo Steering, shift, hand brake
Turbo timer
