goto the auto parts store, look for the section full of "HELP" products and there will be some "univeral" check valves there.. That's what I am using and then work fine..

Went to Autozone and saw those "Help" things but they only had one that remotely looked like the one I need and it had I think a 3/8" nipple, don't we need 1/4". Oh plus it was like $7, wasn't the one you bought like $4?

Guys.......PLEASE.......Bite the bullet and buy the OEM's. I know it sucks but you'll sleep better at night knowing your FD is in good hands. Somebody has GOT to pay retail and keep Mazda in business! (But before you do, buy a MityVac and shop manual and check 'em out yourself and stop guessing - it's really not that hard.)

**** MAZDA

Those *** ***** charge me $27 for a ****** o-ring! If there is a 1% chance that someone else makes a part that will work I would go for it! They are rediculous on pricing and I have no intention of supporting them!

I'm wit you 100% on that - but - an O ring is an O ring (as long as it has not been sitting aroung for a couple of years and is completely dessicated). I am one of the cheapest (as in thrifty) bastards out there, and sometimes you have ab-so-*******-lutely no choice but to go OEM if you want your FD to run right. I know, I had to spend $56.00 each for 2 cheap *** plastic 2 way check valves that were toasted just in order to pass emissions. Save your rant for someone else - just trying to help! *** ****** - HAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHA!!!
(I'm also one of the few and brave on this forum that actually have QUALIFICATIONS to know WTF I'm talking about.......
If you don't like the truth, then you can kiss my shiney white ***!
