Whats up with "grounding" your car

I read somewhere that you need to get a new cable/etc to better "ground" your car from an electrical standpoint...I'm not sure if it was petit's web page but anyone have any info?

what do I need if this is a must

I think this refers to the grounding wire on the back passenger side of the engine bay. Supposedly, this is the reason for the 3,500 hesitation. They moved it in 1994 to the extension manifold, which helps with the problem.

Many(heck, if not all) FD's suffer from a flat spot or hesitation at 3,000 rpm in the lower gears. And yes Pettit has them(they were giving them away about a month ago). Inspect and make sure yours are getting a good metal connection.
