Stock turbo & IC question?

Hey All, I got a question here....I have been told that I dont need a big intercooler if I have stock turbos, I was told that it's all overkill......Is that the case?

I don't think so. I've been told that the stock IC is horribly inadequate, and is no good for anything above 12PSI. Stock turbos can safely run up to 14-15PSI (I think).

You probably don't need a "big" intercooler but you definetly do want a substantial upgrade from the stock intercooler if you are going to run more than 10 PSI safely. M2 medium would be Purrrrfect. Even the Greddy or PFS SMIC's will provide a signifacant hp and saftey margin increase.
