DId you notice a difference in response as far as spool when you went V-mount? I remember seeing your thread on your custom end-tanks you built... how'd they end up coming out? Looks real nice man!

Well, I built the V-mount at the same time as when I put the 500R, so I couldn't really say. I had a different V-mount with my 99 spec twins, but that's like comparing apples to oranges.

The end tanks on the inside surface wise is ****, the exterior.. not so much. Function over form. One of these days I will clean them up so they look pretty.

Thanks

Smart man. In 4 or 5 yrs everyone will look back on that fade and see it in a similar vein as low riders and donks are seen today.

Wheels look great IMO. Function > Form.

Myself, Scrub, and Stitch hit the road race course for the second time in less than a month. This time the Englishtown 0.9 mile track..... definitely a bit different than Monticello

I found it very challenging with lots of tight turns, odd-cambered turns, and um, rough pavement. Not to mention the large imposing concrete walls

Dan got fast time of the day, he was *ripping* around the track. It could be the uber-espensive Zeal coilovers, it could be the nut behind the wheel, it could be the little blue monster whispering advice in his ear

Nice nice... You wouldn't happen to have any pics of your Intake under that Synapse cover would you? Looks awesome...kinda like the Pan-speed time attack car.. Hows that synapse synchronic working for you? it'll most likely be my next...

I love the synapse units, the only reason I would go with something different is if the BOV also acted as a pop off valve for over boost. Preperably electronically control, haha.

afgmoto1978, I really like your v-mount setup! Do you have a write-up/build somewhere on the site? I would love to read up on how you did the modification. What intercooler are you using? And did you custom design all your tubing as well?

Splendid!!

Cheers,

Chris
