I hope you reported your car to the police Project D1, it seems someone stole your wing!

Car on track and no wing = fail, and i say that in the nicest possible way honestly.

Win in what way? Certainly not for handling and downforce my friend.

Have a watch of this vid where they test the differences between no wing, series 8 wing and a gt wing.

even at lowish speeds the series 8 wing provided a much better handling experience due to the downforce it created, then the gt wing was even better again. You can see how floaty the rear gets with no wing too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6_MUycoPPs

Note the series 8 wing was set to it's flat neutral position and the numbers from the vid show the speeds went up into the corners:

Wingless 102 km 0.91g lap 1'10.000

Stock Wing 112 km 1.07g lap 1'09.417

GT Wing 117 km 1.14g lap 1'08.771

Nice vid! I'm not really going for best times though. . .sure you've seen my footworks setup. . .and oem brakes. . .lowering springs. . .everything else stock. . .haha

I'm a fan of the wingless look. . .i don't compete in anything serious like GT-Class races. . .daily drive it and take it out for fun. . .that's why i put "imo"

Fair enough, just something to think about if one day you do find yourself wanting to get to the track more often and go for better times

Sick car! Photoshopping isn't bad either, but the dodge & burn is too strong (white outline around the trees in first pic), and the background blur in the 2nd pic is too abrupt and looks a little unnatural.

Thanks,

I had never messed with anything outside of microsoft office picture manager before last night. I finally decided to download Photoshop Elements and play around. Pretty cool program, way above my knowledge though.

Obviously it's not exactly the same but they share similar qualities; e.i. streched out tires and wheels sticking out past the body.

My fronts are stretched out because otherwise, it would tear up my fender liner.. Otherwise, I prefer not to stretch. My rears, I'm running 295/30s and 255/35s front on 10inch wide.

Viking,
Thats a good start! I can see some potential

Here is a tip for next time:

Instead of walking around the car taking shots, move the car so that the background compliments it.

For example: the shots of your car from the front look cool with the industrial type background, but then the shots of your car from behind you can see a neighborhood, etc. You took the time to find a nice location and bring your car there... make the most out of it
