thats expensive for yahoo japan auctions. Good condition, lightly modded fds run about $3000-$4000. Their are hks turbo kit auctions priced more then working fd's. Must be nice.

Very true, although depending on the car the ending bid doesnt end too far away from the starting bid.

I have to disagree with this statement, high km FDs with crappy condition run for 400,000. Im in the market in Japan and wouldnt touch any FD fo that price. High km rx7s abused FDs are everywhere in Japan and are unwanted. Most on yahoo auctions are from car shops which will also charge another 300,000yen of fees for a car purchase which is pretty standard to pay in Japan, which pays for things like rego, shakken, fees, transport, etc. The truth is that 1 million yen is about the price of a decent stock FD here.

Im bidding on cars at USS auctions today and if you can find me a decent fd for 400,000yen, i will buy it today!

Tursty - those photos look like Paekakariki Hill Rd, less than a KM north of our place.

I know that road well. I used to live in Pukerua Bay. Nah it happened on the south side of the Rimutaka hill.

Don't care much for the EVO-R headlights or the Bumper (looks like it does not fit that great).

Other than looks ok.

Oh true, sounds like you were on the way to the drags. I took my white FD over for my first ever drags. Ran a 13.8 after a few...issues..reading the light tree.

I think I saw you standing on the side of the road on the way. With a silver prelude?

Two years ago, I plowed my series 4 straight on into one of the guard rails on the Rimutakas when the rear gave way. On the way to the first drag meet of the season also.

Lesson! Don't take boosted 7's over the Rimutakas!

Glad you made it out OK, the car will live on for sure.

That car looks great, just needs FEED side skirts to finish and maybe a small diffuser like the older fin type re-amemiya one.

Did'nt realize the 93 jap rx7s came with a 300kmh gauge. My 94 R2 came with a 180kmh one. Anyone know of any place that sells clusters? I would like to go with the re-amemiya complete cluster if I can find a place to buy it. The Mazdaspeed one looks rubbish imo.
