sorry if this has already been asked, but was this miata issued in modified mag?
it seems very familar to the "rat rod" miata in the september issue.

 

LOL! I was wondering the exact same thing. It sure does look similar, I just thought for some reason the one in the magazine had a diffrent color hood.?

 

i decided to go find the magazine and check it out.
the hood is the same, but the miata in the magazine had a black front lip, different rims and no sticker thingys on the side.
granted the car could have been changed in between these two photos, i guess we'll never know...

 

Yeah, the Miata had Work Equips (GOld IIRC), black OEM lip, and a funky trunk lid paint design. THat Miata was being sold on a number of forums.

 

his car is stock all stock except cat back and DP.

i picked it up for 10k stock, 117k miles on the chassis, 17k on the rebuilt motor, minor oil leak from the oil pan, few dings here and there, but overall a really good deal.

i just did a full detail, claybar wax etc. and tossed a 99 lip on there so far.

How come I never see anyone use the ARC air box that I got? Just not enough room or what?

 

That's exactly why no one uses it. It's just HUGE. It's really interesting the way you have your intercooler mounted to make room for that box. You need to get a duct on that intercooler my friend, but otherwise nice car

 

Thanks. I grew onto the black wheel/silver lip look within the past year. It really brings out the body lines of any car IMO which is great. Only thing with black wheels is that all black wheels in general look the same b/c they're all so dark...hahaha.

yeah, if you swapped one of the blues and one of the reds, to a cym and a ssm then you would get all the colors in one drive way. That would be a cool picture, maybe some photochop guru can fix that.

 

^Well it looks like one of the blues is MB and one is IBM, so I'd keep one of them the same, switch one of the reds to CYM, we'd just have to add a SSM, damn it all anyway, haha.

EDIT: Correction, I guess both of those blues ARE IBM, so we'd have to have one MB too. I know I know, alot of people don't like that color, but it's still one of the stock colors and it's what I currently have, haha. You still get to add another FD either way. Damn I'm getting wet just thinking about it.
