Post Some Pics of your FD! :D <- Pics of your car go in this thread!!
Hi guys,
Well I havn't been on this site for a few years, ever since my 85 first gen got stolen and then I bought an FC about a year after.
Well now I've sold the FC and bought myself a nice lovely 1996 Aus-spec.
Good to be back on this site - so much reading to catch up on - never thought I'd be on the 3rd gen specific page

I love Australia, did the whole country a month ago. In fact drove a falcon xr6 from Adelaide to Melbourne. Great Drive!
It's Montego Blue. So - it's green blue...kinda like a ocean green. It does appear to change colour under different light so its very cool!
Yeah, the xr6 is a nice solid family car - no doubt. Glad you enjoyed the place - adel to melb is a fine drive for sure! next time you are around drop me a pm! haha
Her name is Kay.
Attempt to ignore the gap on the right side of the hood, she'd just gotten out of the shop and they wouldn't cut the bracing on the new hood to clear the M2 Intake. I've since done that.

Twin-turbo, M2 Intake, 17 psi peak. Approx 320 at the wheels.

Boost/tach right next to each other.

Nature knows beauty when it sees it.

Hi all.
Firstly - Sorry I cant get another pic right now. The Airbox has the open ended vents that go through the front down to the nose yup to get cold air. The vents are on the left of the nose...where the SP I/C also has it's own duct to the right of the car to help channel cold air over the fins.
Both have yielded great results - and with no issues at all with the pwr radiator.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the SP model was also a variant of the 1995 model released here - not sure if you guys got the SP there?
I'll try and grab more pics for you guys soon

Considering its my car and its still legally registered in my name and you havent even told me your official decision yet on whether you're buying it or not, it might be an idea not to post on forums until you have for the car in full

Also, have you actually sold your FC??
Cheers,
Sam
when using the SP gear the radiator has to be leant further forward to allow a gap for the airbox/intercooler ducting to pass through. a full setup like that is rare (only 35 genuine SP's - thats the only other complete set ive seen) and includes airbox and ducting, i/c ducting, pipework, airpump muffler and a battery tray all in c/f. the airbox and intercooler take air from the opening in the front bar above the radiator, so it serves as cai and pressurised airbox/ram air setup. its a great setup but its not cheap.
