the gold pearl really comes out when the sun hits it, when the sun off of it it looks like a candy apple red. I was trying to get a color close to this:
and came kind of close, im very happy with the color and it was much cheaper than a candy or ordering the paint from saleen/basf.
here you can see the gold pearl.

 

it may have been a lot cheaper but is that the exact color you thought it would be?

 

Yeah. I thought you could see the pearl in the one picture where the sun is hitting it. Like I said before, it looks really nice.

finally after about 10 years of wanting an FD i finally have one, and i got the pics rights here

the car has been worked over by pettit racing, the engine is a brand new blueprinted streetport with only 8k on it after the drive home, the power steering bearings around the shaft actually overspun a day after i got it home, and i jsut fixed it today, with a new pump, and a bigger pulley, but the car is amazing, and i got it at a great price.

wheels are 18x9 +20 front with 235/40/18 rt615's
rear is 18x10 +18 with 245/40/18 federal ss595's(should have gone with 235s though because it rubs because my coilovers are to gay soft.
