Oil in the intake hose??

I found oil inside the "intake" hose that comes from the front cooler around to the carb. The hard plastic hose/pipe/tube whatever you may want to call it.... on the driver side of the engine.

Is this normal? I also have a leak that seem to come from the oil filter housing... (this may be the seals) but I was wondering if this oil may be the actual leak...

How serious is this?
What should it cost to fix...
I know the back engine seal is leaking also cause the tranny housing walls are wet.. it hasn't gotten really bad yet though.

Any sound advice would be well appreciated...
This site is so cool !!! :-)
