Need Owners Manual for 93

I would like an owners manual for a 93 Rx7, someone posted
the shop manual a few months ago, and that was very useful.
I would prefer a digital one which I could just download somewhere.

I bought my RX7 used and didn't get the owner's manual, the
car has an alarm on it but I am not sure exactly how it engages,
there seems to be some interference with my turbo timer and
trying to activate the security system.

Are you talking about the factory passive (close-the-door-and-it-arms alarm, or aftermarket keyless entry?

Actually, I didn't even know my car had an alarm until a few days ago when I noticed that the security light flashed when I locked the door. What exactly does the factory alarm do and how would I go about setting it off? It really doesn't seem like it does anything, heh... I haven't installed a turbo timer yet but I'm going to soon so any tips to get it to work with the factory alarm would be appreciated.

Agreed.

Is he talking about a shop manual or the owners guide?

I've put in a spot for the owner's manual, but haven't had a chance to scan it yet - having scanner trouble. It's in the works though.

Thanks for noticing though - glad to see people check the place out

I am looking for an "Owners Manual" I already have a scanned
shop manual which is excellent BTW.

The alarm is the stock factory alarm. Which I think engages
when you push on the driver side door lock (but not always),
it beeps in any case, once the door is closed the Security light
will flash.
You can activate the alarm easily be leaving the window open
and unlocking the car door by reaching in through the open
window. When you open the door this way, the horn will sound
and the head lights will go up and down out of sync. Trying to
start the engine with the key wont work. You have to unlock
the door again with the key to deactivate the alarm, as I found
out in a somewhat embarrasing situation.
It seems that in some cases locking the door does not actually
engage the alarm though and I wonder if it is related to the
turbo timer or perhaps something else. I am sure its explained
somewhere in the Manual. I will look forward to seeing it scanned
on your site Viper Jr.
