A/F gauge reading?
Hey guys,
I recently installed a autometer Air/fuel ratio gauge in the car and was wondering exactly what kinda reading i should be getting. When i am on the throttle i read a rich signal with a couple of green bars. When i am steady with the throttle i read stoich with the colors bouncing back and forth(which is supposed to be normal) and when i am gently getting off throttle and off the gas completely i read a red bar and sometimes no bar at all.
My mods consist of a SS downpipe and K&N aftermarket filter. Is this normal for a healthy running FD? Any words will be appreciated.

You might try http://www.autometer.com go to highperformance then click FAQ on the left side of the screen. Hunt down oxy sensors and read. It sounds like something you'd be interested in.

Yea that sounds about right. The Autometer A/F gauge is pretty much for looks. It is not that accurate but at least it gives you a general idea of what you are running.
I have it and all it is a a cool flashing light that people look at and say "wow what is that your car must be fast." HAHAHA.
