I did this 4 yrs ago and never had a issue, I remember looking that a clutch switch was big money for what it was so +1 for a cheap fix that stood time so far

Broken clutch switch cause "squeek" when pressing clutch down?
Squeek sound when you push the clutch in??
my car does idle a bit high when its cold, and sometimes it will hunt when at idle...

Here's a reply for 2010. Thanks for the info in this thread. I had a good laugh. Hopefully this is the solution to my stalling problem (which after doing some research, looks like it will be the one).

Just had to chime in, I always was a little skeptical of this fix. Working on a buddy's car, I found he had a bad clutch switch. Found a cheapie click pen, took it apart, the spring fits PERFECTLY and works PERFECTLY.
This is a great fix. It's cheap, but it's done RIGHT at the same time.

i'm having the stalling problem also when the car is in gear and the clutch depressed. i'm going to try this fix. "SEARCH" is such a wonderful library of knowledge and experience. thank you!!!
