Alignment settings for stock FD?
Does anybody know the alignment settings for the stock suspension?
I was just curious as to what they were. The wheels point differently now that it's been lowered. I don't think they should be any different as opposed to the stock ride height....
Thanks,

DrPJM1, NO! Those settings are for autocrossing only. I know it might say that there is street settings but it isn't correct. I used the street settings and the inner side of my tires have been chewed to bits. There's way to much of an angle if you use those settings. Handling was improved but braking wasn't. Also due to the angle the front tires were taking more of beating due to the turning and braking.
Unless you're actually going to race or autocross your car you shouldn't use those settings for everday driving. Which is what I do the majority of the time. I daily drive my car so it has to deal with all the bumps and manholes that are on the road.
I remember before I had my suspension upgraded that the stock settings make the front wheels point inwards a bit with the rears pointed out. But it was done in such a way that the tires were fully used even though they looked like they were improperly aligned.
It was a good try but does anybody have the official settings for the car?
Thanks,

These are from the 1993 factory manual. You should align the car with a person in the drivers seat. The car is sensitive enough for this to make a difference.
FRONT:
Total toe-in: 1 mm (+/- 1mm)
Toe-in per side: 0.05 deg (+/- 0.05 deg)
Camber angle: 0.1 deg (+/- 0.5 deg)
Camber difference left to right: 0.5 deg max.
Caster angle: 6.09 deg (+/- 0.5 deg)
Caster difference left to right: 0.5 deg max.
REAR:
Total toe-in: 2 mm (+/- 1 mm)
Toe-in per side: 0.1 deg (+/- 0.05 deg)
Camber angle: -1.22 deg (+/- 0.5 deg)
Camber difference left to right: 0.5 deg max.
Thrust angle: 0 deg (+/- 0.1 deg)
