Talking Yoshimura RS-3 mufflers on 90 N/A

i was thinking of purchasing a racing beat header then go with a straight pipe or presilencer back to two Yoshimura RS-3 mufflers. does any body have experience with running streetbike exhaust on a rotary or is this just out of the question.

Why? That would be rediculously expensive.... Plus what are the gains? It would look like ***, and god knows what it would sound like.

It looks like those mufflers are packed with fiberglass, they may not last long.

I agree. They might sound ok, but for how long. Id bet they would be burned out within a week if that long. Rotaries have higher exhaust temps than most engines.

that was one of the concerns i had. i did some research and have found that they use steel wool as a there packing material. they do recommend repacking there mufflers every 10K miles on a street bike and i know they can produce some extreme temps. i often ran mine untill my pipes began to turn red on my R6 and they held up to the heat.

Lol do you have clips of the miata? Those exhaust would look extremely weird on a car, but who knows have fun. Make sure a clip goes up if you get it in

Here's my bike with yoshi

Here's a clip --of the bike.. of course, it sounds good on a sports bike, but I want to hear it on your rotary...perhaps it will sound similar to the rotary bike? hehe
