Yoohoo belt on S5 N/A???
SO I got the 3L220 22" belt for the "yoohoo" setup.. it's not even close to fitting on my S5 N/A
I know this works for 1st gens and S4's, but I think maybe the bottom pulley size is much larger for the S5 or something. The 22" belt is waaaay too short.
Anyone ever run into this, and anyone used a different size?
I guess I might just experiment with other sizes....

I know it's supposed to be a PITA to get on, but I can't even come close to getting it onto the smaller, non-pulley part of the water pump pulley.
I'll measure it tomorrow... see if I need more than 22"
Oh, and a yoohoo belt is for those that have removed their airp pump... and the associated belt. This means that the water pump is only driven by the alternator belt, with about 10* of contact... easily slips and runs hot, as well as chewing up belts.
The yoohoo belt is a small belt that goes around the outer water pump pulley and the matching main pulley groove underneath.

I just ditched my air pump and 6 port actuators (only things still running on the sucker) today and installed the yoohoo belt.
The tension is a little tight for the amount of contact area the belt has at 22 1/8" but there isn't significant side load on the bearings of the waterpump so I give this thing full props as working properly from the start.
I personally don't like shoehorning $9 premium belts with screwdrivers... so I just loosend the water pump pulley and it provided more than enough clearance to get the belt over.
I think this is much better than the dual alt pulley. IMO. The contact area on the pump is far more substantial and it only costs you the belt.
