Car hesitates :(

Upon a cold start up my car will die too often.

When i press the gas, these's a split second before it starts accelerating. It's like a dip in the revs almost. If i don't press hard enough, it'll die.

Before you all say that it's a AFM problem. It's not connected and i'm running microtech, with it's truely awesome idle properties. Well not really.

I have a feeling it's a fuel related problem??

Cold Start System maybe?

My guess is that your map isn't set up to properly enrichen the idle mixture when the engine is cold.

As for the needing to hammer the throttle or it will die... Also sounds like the fuel map is not properly calibrated. Too much or too little fuel will cause a stumble like that.
