i need a quick question answered nothing too stupid but need to ask... i know the interior plastic on the 2nd gen. rx7s is inherantly bad and breaks and cracks often...a quick fix to this dillema...what would it be???in order to prevent the cracks and damages if i buy new plastic parts...

 

It's mostly age and UV damage that causes the plastic to get so brittle. Your best bet would to get S5 plastic stuff, but it will get brittle and crack again in 15 or so years...

Its just the time and the sun man.. Just buy some new pieces and you should be golden

Yes and most of them don't have interiors, infact just about all pro-race cars are tube frame with fiberglass and cf exterior panels.


Race cars don't use CF cigarette lighter holders or CF glove box doors.
