(yes i searched) s4 turbo on a s5 n/a

I'm not sure if I looked hard enough or not but I know this question has been answered already. but will an s4 turbo fit and run properly on an s5?

I found this one on the ebay and it got me curious if i can actually get it put on.

thanks

Yes, you could get it and put it on, but, there is working and then there is working.

In other words, no.

You need a lot more than just the turbo and manifold to make it work,on a side note the S5 turbochargers are superior than S4 so why go S4?cause is cheap?

You'll need the ECU from a turbo car as well. And some of the sensors to match. And you'll have to stick the proper series on that too.

If you're thinking of installing a turbo on a non turbo RX7, your opening a gargantuan can of tape worms. S4 or S5 don't really matter at that point, given the amount of **** you'd have to deal with. Aaron does a better job of explaining:

http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/naturbo.htm

It is comparatively easier to put the S4 engine/powertrain in an S5. Even then you will be chasing mismatched wires and plugs for quite some time to get everything working. I did this swap and ended up scrapping all the Mazda wiring for a standalone EMS.
