How hard or is just a bolt on, to swap an 88 n/a bumber with the 90-92 n/a bumber, i hate the plastic grill(forgot proper term)

 

Just cut it out.

 

if you dont like the grill on your car you can cut it out. but the 89-91(s5) bumpers are a little different. they have fog lights and clear lenses in then. but also the moldings on the bumper is different and wouldnt match your s4. but in my opinion the s5 bumper looks better. removing the bumper is not hard it is a couple of bolts, less than 10. the only thing you would have to do is get the s5 bumper.

 

yea i'll buy the bumber, i'd cut it out but then if i ever wanted to sell the car i would need to buy a new s4 bumper

 

alot of people on the forum cut out there bumper. and it looks better. i dont think that you would need to buy another bumper when you sell it. just sell it(if you have to) with the cut out.

what is a bumber?

 

The S5 has the grille in the center, but it's painted black, not the color of the car. Spray your grille black, but use correct paint and application, or the road debris will etch the paint.
