if you cant find any rx 7 tII's around you just take the 87 you will love it no matter what. like everyone else said if you dont like something on it anything is changable i love my 89 s5 tII in every way hope everything go's the best for you

I've got an S4, I'm happy with all aspects of it except for the following:

The exterior, I bought the stock S5 equipment cause I really like that.

The Interior, well it just sucks that it's grey and black instead of all black, but that's just personal taste.

The computer: I wish I had S5 electricals so I could run an Apex'i Power FC

However I am happy I have a mechanical OMP.

i got my my s4 t2 cuz it was a t2 didnt care the price just as long as it was a t2... i just put my s5 bumper on.. i rebuilt the engine.. just blew up the the turbo(145k on it) i couldnt be happier with her. i love my car. i like my s4 t2 mirrors over the s5 anyday.. the s5 mirrors are too curvy our body has a mixture of curves and hardlines those mirrors are just curves... s4 or s5 i love um all WEEE EeeeeeeeeeeE. Im glad i dont have a bloated s5. like i said earlier its all trade offs but either way is good.. except s5 are a lil more $$ :-P the rule is see T2 buy T2....

as for the 86 business .. you could be looking at an 86.5 year model.... ill have to check but i swear electronically something was different with those guys...... ha and they have the gay two spoke steering wheel that belongs on a 78 cutlass supreme:-P get a factory manual or a buddy who is into t2s and check the car out. i would be cautious of buying someones frankenstien unless i knew them really well or know of there good work. its nice to buy a fairly stock car. but one someone has been messing with another story(**** happens a lil more often).. check for things like... if the car has roll down windows it aint an original t2 if it doesnt have a sunroof.. again it aint an american t2 if its got auto adjust suspension not t2 the list goes on. check the driveline as well.
