well....
I cant say i really know how but i am teaching my self and it is a lot of fun... but my door panels are turning out pretty good and so is my hood scoop i will be posting pics this weekend of the finished product.

I understand man its your OPinion... i did it to get the feel of fiberglassing before i ripped in to the door panels...so no hard feelings taken.

Ok guys just need a little advice... the door panels are coming along pretty good will have pics up soon...but i was wondering...
To make like a vented Hood or fenders or something like that ...what would you use to build the curves in the fenders...? to make the vents prop up and etc...let me know if anyone has advice thanks.

So i am still working on pics for my thread but i did complete my own S4 clear lensides for all the yellow market lights and the rear red ones... i will post pics... tonight.

It's obviously not for lightening, but I thought the stretched fabric was clever. For best results, I think you have to vacuum bag.

Hmm, ok, so from what i understand, you're tying to make a smooth lightweight doorpanel, with no speakers or armrest?
Buy some nice black cloth material, then, and when you have that thin panel for the door, just put foam padding (about 1/2" thick) and cover THAT with the cloth (use spray on carpenter glue). Then add your hole and put on the window lever!
