At a performance standpoint, you've probably gained some weight with the amount of resin and bondo you used.

But for show, I guess its okay. Practice your glassing and resin technique better and you shouldn't need to bondo so much. Make a mold, use wax, and it'll lessen the bumps and waves.

Don't make the mould with wax, use wax on the mould. Simply take the piece you have now (finished) and wax the crap out of it, then fiberglass over it. When its dry pull your pieces apart and you'll have a perfect negative of your part. Take the negative and wax the crap out of it, then lay up your part, and VOILA - you have the piece perfectly cast from fiberglass.

Its a special wax that any Fiberglass materials supplier should carry. I have no idea what specific brands they'll have in your area, but ask for "mold release agent" or "mould release wax"

Along with wax you can also use special release liquids you wipe the mold with. I want to say PVA release.

Car wax also works for molds. I've used it plenty of times.
