well buy the racing beat catalog is all I can say. Because I bought one and aparently unless your Y-pipe is broken it's pointless to buy a Racing Beat one beacuse it's the exact same size as the stocker. Racing Beat said it not me.

The stock Y-pipe is actually a pretty smooth design. It's just a little small. The inlet pipe appears to be a 2.5" but it has an inside weld at the flange that reduces it's usable size to 2.25". The 2 smaller pipes after the Y are only 1.75" pipes. If you have a 2.5" downpipe and cat or header with 2.5" collector you are losing power and need to change it. If you have everything stock before it you are fine. You don't need to go much larger. a 2.5" primary with dual 2" pipes is fine. Before anyone says it, a single pipe instead of duals does not necessarily flow better. A single 2.5" pipe will flow better for the above size reason but a properly designed Y pipe will not show any performance loss to a single pipe.
