spark plug gaps???

Exclamation spark plug gaps???

hey, i already searched and found nothing. what size gaps should i use for my spark plugs, both the leading and trailing gaps?

You don't gap plugs for rotaries. When you see them you will know why.

haha actually i wont know why, this is my first car and have never worked on a engine with pistons. should i just put the plugs all the way tight?

yeah. the plugs dont gap really. just look at them and youll know what we mean

Put them in tight but don't put a whole lot of force on them. Be sure not to cross-thread them when you put them in too.

Do not over tighten the plugs......you have been warned....


Just go to advance auto, auto zone or what ever and get NGK plugs......

i put new plugs in today but i dont know how tight to put them, thats what im wondering. should i just put them fairly tight? and i did get NGK's

As tight as you can without straining. Thats how I do it on mine. But.... if you really want to.... you could buy a torque wrench an torque them down to spec.

Man, nobody's told this poor guy to put a little anti-seize on the plug threads yet?

Aluminum housings don't like dissimilar metals touching them...

Tighten them until you feel the crush washer not crushing anymore...

haha well i got them tightened up... but that didnt help with the reason why i changed them in the first place. my cars still jogging and lost tons of power. next i will replace the spark plug wires and get the injectors cleaned and see if that does it.

Check for vac leaks, adjust the idle, and check the TPS and timing also..
