someone could have pood in your intake!!!
What a ******* moron. It's hard enough to grasp the concept that someone actually had those words pop into their mind in response to this thread, but to think they actually took time to type it?
Oh, and while Im ranting, here's something else to consider. Why is it that you see a lot of posts about problems encountered while going WOT, racing X vehicle, shifting at 8krpms, etc., and in the same post read how the same person has no money and has done little/no maintenance to said car? I mean, I dont know about you, but if I were broke *** and knew it, I sure wouldnt be beating on my car, even if it is an amazing marvel of engineering...it is a 15 year old car that can and will break! If I were in that situation, racing and hellraising would be far from my mind, and Id be driving that bitch around like your mother's toyota corolla until I knew I had some jack to put back into it when I broke something.
IN response to the real question, here are some possibilities.
1) turbo shaft has sufficient play to allow the wheel to hit the housing. This would make a squealing sound.
2) intake piping (from turbo to engine) loose or cracked...could be just tight enough to hold an idle/vacuum and some boost, but under certain higher levels of boost start leaking.
3) bad blowoff valve, same as above. never seen it but still possible.
4) vacuum hose broken/leaking somewhere, and when subjected to boost leaks worse, also causing the sound.

It's hard, at times, to see the difference between oil and water, since their colors are similar. The big clue is how long they hang around - oil smoke will hang in the air for a while, but water smoke tends to disperse pretty quickly.
