Question A/T tranny radiator into a 5spd....

Hi guys I am swaping radiatorstoday and need to know for sure that it is ok to leave the openings un-capped. Or is that connected to the regular cooling system?

Santiago

PS I looked at the FSM but just want to make sure I don't waste any coolant.

Thanks!

yeah, usually when you buy a rebuilt auto tranny, most companies give you an external ATF cooler to mount on the front of the radiator.

You can use it.I have a radiator from an automatic in my car.You won't have to block off those lines 'cause thef won't be anything in them.I did put some rubber caps on mine to keep dirt out but it's not necessary.

Go ahead and use it, only trans. fluid runs thru there.
