ok i was just driving down the road at about 80 on the highway and all of a sudden my speedometer just starts falling to 0. later i put it up on stands and got under to check it. the little slinky rod is still in that cord and i pulled out the gauge cluster and it is still behind that. i even unscrewed the line from the tranny and twisted the slinky part alittle and my speed went up. so i take it its in the tranny. what part do i have to replace. is it that spot with the 10s? how hard is that and how much do they run? thanks

 

You just need to replace the speedo gear.It's bolted in.Just remove the bolt and pull it straight out.I think the gear just pops out.Pop in a new gear and put back in and tighten bolt put cable back on
