wtf... injectors!? gurus please..

i was just flipping through kevin landers site, and im noticing that my injector harness has an offset notch on the plug, while my injectors have a centered notch. this car is an s4.. and im confused b/c
landers says the the HI injectors have offset plug, and low impedance have centered plug.
my harness is offset, and my injectors are centered. im using the 460cc reds. the previous injectors were pretty faded, but im sure they were offset reds. someone please tell me whats up with this.

First you shouldnt be premixing and still using the OMP unless you are unsure if your OMP is functioning correctly or not. You will be getting excessive carbon build up. Check the part numbers on your injectors and match them up. Is the harness cut up or anything (any new wires run)? I'm guessing someone swapped the harness plugs.

Easy enough to tell: Get to the ECU, and pull the small plug. Now to the right of the ECU is plug FEM-02 (7 X 2 pin plug) disconnect that also. Now read pins 3C (rear primary, light green/blue wire) and 3E (front primary, light green solid) at the disconnected ECU plug to the black/yellow wire on the "male" portion of FEM-02 (there are two black/yellow wires, either one should work) for continuity. What you are reading here is the injector circuit from the ECU (ground) side, through the injectors, and back to the harness plug to the right of the ECU. You should get somewhere around 13 ohms total per injector circuit, which means you have the high impedance injectors. If you only read 3 or 4 ohms, you have the low impedance guys, without the resistor block.

This test will also check out 1/2 of the entire injector circuit on the car, and will verify the connectors at the injectors are making good contact...
