WTF?, I have terrible gas mileage on my rebuild

my rebuilt large street port 13bt is getting horrible gas mileage . I put in 25.00 the other day and drove about 50 miles and now my fuel tanks almost empty. damn this sucks. I also noticed that my secondary injectors arnt kicking in and they are leaking fuel from the orings for the secondarys, whats the best way to seal these?
Thanks

replace the O rings.

You probably are getting very poor mileage just from the leaks

I'm going through the same **** but my injectors are not leaking. I am running very lean for some reason. The motor is a stoock rebuild no porting. No leaks any where. My idle is justm slightly above 1000rpm. Now my timing is set to factory speck for the leading and when I check the trailling it lines up with the yellow mark as well, If i put the timing light to read the rear trailing plug and flash the timing light you can see the red and yellow timing marks moving side to side, but if I put it on the front spark plug it lines up with the yellow. I'm sure this is not normal. What should I do about this.

You're using an SAFC for fuel control... i bet the MAIN culprit is right there...... do you have it set to read Boost as throttle position, or have it reading the TPS signal as throttle position... IE... by tying the boost sensor signal into the SAFC's TPS input, you can set the SAFC to add fuel only when the the car is under boost)

Replace those friggin o-rings before you DIE in a FIRE!!!

Ummmmmmm how do you know that the secondaries are not kicking in??? If you hit boost and they aint working.. bad things are going to happen..

Also..... On my car... If I keep the boost gauge below 5" of vac.. I get high 20 MPG's.... (haltech and a tweaked o2 sensor settings) let me take just ONE boost blast up through the gears and I'm down into the teens!!!!

yah, replace those O-Rings!
I had a half tank **** out on my exhaust manifold once during a 20 minute drive thanks to a cracked o ring THANK GOD it did not ignite. the amount of fuel must have had a cooling effect on the manifold.

Terrible gas mileage is getting only 154/city.

Edit: this is off topic, but has anyone had any good experiences dealing with Micahman? If so Pm me. if not...pm me

Make sure your friends "O" rings are fuel compatible, standard rubber o rings will disinigrate in fuel in no time bringing you back to same problem, as a matter of fact I would just go to Mazda and buy new ones there only like $4.00 and will be the right size.
