Cool building a hyrbrid?

hey, i've been looking at some of the hybrid options for sale on rx7store and talked to my friend that works at a popular turbo shop here, and it will cost me about $700-$900 (CAD) for a hybrid that will be built for me..

my question is, are there any other turbos (to4's) off any stock cars that will mate nicely with my s4 turbo? ive heard of some people using parts off of a GRand national turbo?..

because im sure theres more to it than just bolting up the cover and wheel to my stock turbo, right? i'd have to get it balanced and such?

any help will be much appreciated

thanks,Dan.

Grand National uses a T3 turbo.
That's probably smaller than the stock Hitachi HT-18.

T3048b is the turbo
it boosts a bar stock in a 3.8L
thats turbo is efficient to 20-22psi on an engine a little bit bigger than ours...
not to mention that turbo supports over 300hp easily

its smaller than the stock rx-7 turbo.. right

What does ~15psi of boost got to do with anything?

So who is running "20-22psi" on an FC?

Are you talking BHP at the flywheel or RW HP?
If it's BHP, that means it'll support about 200bhp at the flywheel on a 13B.
If it's RW HP, that means it'll support about 200hp at the wheels on a 13B.
Hey, can't the STOCK HT-18 TURBO already do that???

I put money the turbine A/R is fricken TINY versus the FC turbo turbine A/R.
Yes, it's puny.
