I got the solution!..(YES I DO!)..you see if you Park your Car ON a hill,or you have like a 1/4 Tank of gas in the car and go Uphill SLOW,the the car will Stall out. It's the Dynamics of The tank..HOW Do I know?I had my 7 like one week,,Runs fine.I park on a Hill it Doesn't want to Start..I roll it down to Flat ground,BINGO,the car starts up!..so That was MY lesson in the "quirks" of the car..NEVER park on a Hill!.

I used the 7 to deliver pizzas in the mountains and had no issues like you said. I'd be constantly getting out and going after parking on a steep incline/hill. I'm not saying that might not have been an issue in you car, cause it probably was, but just wanted to say it does not happen in all of them.

holy crap!!!!!!!!!!! that always happens to me. i too would have people behind me. see i get scared on hills that im riding and waring down the clutch so i try and sorta do it fast on hills and some times kill it. but i always just put in reverse and slide back then pop the clutch. you can do this fast enough that you wont hit the person behind you unless they are literally trying to push you up the hill with there bumper lol

I have the same thing on NA, it's the Racing Beat downpipe and presilencer, I thought it was weird too but they actually call it a downpipe I guess because it bolts up to the exhaust manifold.

1. get a cheap portable GPS like Garmin
2. check your plugs after flooding they are no doubt fouled by now
3. sounds like a bad install, did you put in a new pilot and throw-out berring while you were in there? did you make sure all the grounds were reconnected properly.
4.vacuum leak, AFM or TPS issue

Ditto, and to anyone who has trouble with there car stalling on hills, theres are baffles in the tank to prevent this. Yours are prolly rusted through

this could also be some of the fuel issues, as the crud in the tank tends to clog the sock filter around the fuel pump inlet
I would occasionally get fuel cut-off on a hard left turn in a previous 7 of mine, pretty sure it was stuff in the tank

Ooh the shop huh, i dont know any mechanics i would trust to work on my rotary, its not exactly like you have to learn anything about a rotary to even become ASE certified

short of rebuilding the engine any mechanic should be able to work on an RX-7
(particularly an NA), it's really more of a question their familiarity with 20 year old cars
