so lets say i installed a slightly used motor cuz im poor and my old one blew..
what would cause it to crank like a humming noise instead of the usual RrRrRrRrRr ... is it possible that 2 weeks of storage could cause 6 apex seals to seize WTF?

 

So, it IS spinning, but freely and not getting any compression? Or is the starter just humming and not turning the engine?

dude put a little bit of oil in the spark plug holes and the compression should build up and start the same thing happened to my car

I've heard that noise on a few RX-7's. Do a compression test to reveil the evil villian.

 

sounds flooded to me...

 

it wasnt making any compression.. the motor was just tired from sitting.. i used wd40 of all things and tried a few times and it fired right up.
id like to thank everyone on this forum.. everyone whos ever said dont give up.. every bit of advice that anyone has ever contributed to this forum because i would have never gotten this swap without you guys.. thanx
