Nice sarcasm. Of course I realize it will reflect heat. Maybe thats why I wrapped my haltech wire harness and fuel harness. Wow what a concept!
THE QUESTION is would it be a waste of time and money to wrap my a/c lines? I don't know if heating the gas is a big deal or not. I'm no a/c guy. Maybe I wasn't clear.
Thanks for your help

Ok. Sounds good. Just didn't know if it would make a difference. I will probable try it this weekend. Especially since its like 38°C out there plus humid index. Man its HOT.
If that does not chill it up maybe new 12A refridgerant. (Spelling?)
thanks,

I did wrap mine last year. I think it helps. I've a R134 conversion and the thing freezes my hands off. It's been in the low 100's today.
But while on the subject, you can get common roofing flashing and fabricate a heat shield b/t your turbo and the lines. Minor cost.

it will save you a/c compressor as there is still a bit of cooling left in the gass to cool your compressor down. So if only hot refrigerant is going to the compressor it will soon cook itself, this also happens when system gets low on gas.So chech the sight glass on the drier it should stop bubling after 3-5 seconds after comp fires up.
